Start Recovery

Your path to recovery starts with a single call

Getting Started

Here is a truth most treatment centers will not tell you: the hardest part is not recovery itself — it is deciding to call. Everything after that phone call gets easier, step by step. At MTH Rehab, we have guided over 22,100 people through that transition from uncertainty to action, and our admissions team is trained to make the process as straightforward as possible.

Unlike what many people assume, you do not need to hit "rock bottom" to qualify for treatment. You do not need to have all the answers. You just need to pick up the phone. Our coordinators handle insurance verification, scheduling, and travel logistics so you can focus on the decision that matters — choosing yourself.

Every conversation is completely confidential. Whether you are calling for yourself, a spouse, or your adult child, we will walk you through the options without pressure or judgment. Call (707) 324-2295 any time, day or night.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does treatment last at MTH Rehab?

Many people think rehab is a fixed 28-day sentence, but actually treatment length is fully individualized. Medical detox typically runs 3 to 7 days. Residential stays range from 30 to 90 days depending on clinical need. Outpatient programming continues 2 to 12 weeks after residential. Your clinical team adjusts timelines based on your progress — not an arbitrary calendar.

Do you accept my insurance?

Many people think they cannot afford quality treatment, but actually most major insurers cover a significant portion of rehab costs. We accept Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Medicaid, Medicare, Kaiser Permanente, Health Net, and Magellan. Our admissions team verifies your specific benefits before you arrive so there are no surprises. Call (707) 324-2295 for a free, confidential verification.

Is detox dangerous without medical supervision?

Many people think they can detox safely at home, but actually withdrawal from alcohol and benzodiazepines can cause seizures and other life-threatening complications. Our medical detox program provides 24/7 physician oversight and medication-assisted treatment to keep you safe and as comfortable as possible throughout the process.

Can I keep working during outpatient treatment?

Many people think treatment means putting your entire life on hold, but actually our outpatient program is specifically designed for people who need to maintain work, school, or family commitments. Sessions are scheduled around your obligations, and telehealth options are available for certain appointments.

What makes MTH Rehab different from other facilities?

Many people think all treatment centers are interchangeable, but actually our combination of nutritional psychiatry, neuroscience-based protocols, and strengths-based recovery philosophy is uncommon in the industry. We were founded by someone in long-term recovery, and that lived experience shapes every aspect of care — from our chef-prepared meals to our equine-assisted therapy program. With 146 staff serving 68 beds, the attention you receive here is unmatched.

Do you treat co-occurring mental health conditions?

Many people think addiction and mental health are separate issues, but actually they are deeply interconnected. Our dual diagnosis program treats both simultaneously with an integrated clinical team. If you have been diagnosed with depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, or another condition alongside substance use, we address everything under one roof.

Will my information remain confidential?

Many people think entering rehab means their privacy disappears, but actually federal law — specifically 42 CFR Part 2 — provides some of the strongest confidentiality protections in all of healthcare specifically for substance use treatment. We cannot even confirm or deny that you are a patient without your written consent.
